Amanda was introduced to yoga while recovering from an injury sustained during a triathlon. She was hooked immediately, became fully immersed and never looked back. While triathlons had offered Amanda the opportunity to connect with others and to be a part of something bigger than herself, it was the spiritual aspect of yoga that resonated with her and eventually propelled her to obtain her 200 hour CorePower Yoga Certification so that she could share the incredible gift of yoga with others. While seemingly unconventional to yogi purists, Amanda's class honors the tradition of yoga coupled with a modern flair. Depending on the music selection, you may suddenly find yourself on a journey to places that are as nostalgically teeming with wonderment as the roller skating rink of your youth to places where you felt an extreme sense of community like summertime backyard barbeques amongst good friends and loved ones. In a single hour, you will laugh, you will sweat, you may shed a tear or two, but regardless of the emotions that you experience, you will leave Amanda's class feeling renewed and ready to take on the world. In addition to teaching yoga, Amanda is also a certified pilates and spin instructor. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls, stand up paddleboarding, traveling and connecting with friends.
